Perspective

Perspective

Perspectives often compete and usually our default response is to assume perspectives other than our own are simply wrong. This default to dualistic thinking is one of the biggest obstacles to learning to manage conflicts effectively. More often than not, conflicts are rooted less is right and wrong and more in competing or alternative perspectives, each with a kernel of the truth, demanding engagement with others in the struggle to achieve agreements.
