Local Health Care Leaders Weigh In
A front page story in the Akron Beacon Journal, featuring analysis from UA's Steve Brooks, outlines the differences in the candidate's positions and let's local leaders in the industry weigh in with comments like “The Affordable Care Act was a beginning,” he said. “It’s not perfect, but it was a start toward change that was necessary. … There’s no turning back.”  It is interesting, when you listen to those in the industry talk about Obamacare, there is nearly none of the hysteria we hear from the Tea Party branch of the Republican Party.

As I argued in yesterday's blog below, and with Governor Christie demonstrating that there are leaders in the Republican Party willing to put nation before party and get things done, the debate over health care demonstrates that it is inaccurate to say 'both sides are doing it,' since as you can see below nine of ten myths about health care reform turn out to be Republican talking points.
