This was a tough week. Disoriented, sad, confused, angry, disappointed, ashamed, afraid. I take some solace in the fact that my review of favorite cartoonists today reveals very little has changed.
Pollsters took some heat this week. They were off, but not actually be much. The election was that close. A 1% shift would have reversed the result. Nearly 50% of us eligible to vote did not vote. White voters, particularly men but also women without college degrees, appear to have been 'the deciders.'
Classic.
I wish it was a real thing.
Still tough to laugh about it, but one step at a time.
We now need our leadership to address the challenges we face. All hands on deck.
